Porsche 911 Targa Facelift

Prior to the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 in September, another prototype of the facelifted Porsche 911 has been spied testing. This particular vehicle is the Targa model and was seen without any form of camouflage.

At the front, the facelifted Porsche 911 range will adopt tweaked headlights and if reports are to be believed, air intakes with moveable horizontal slats. Elsewhere, a new front apron will be adopted while at the rear, new taillights have been installed with a slightly different shape to the current units found across the 911 range.

Beyond the exterior styling changes, the most significant development of the facelifted Porsche 911 will be its adoption of turbocharged engines across the range. These new engines will reportedly replace the existing range of naturally aspirated engines leaving the 911 range with just a single all-motor powerplant exclusively for the 911 GT3 and GT3 RS.

Fully Undisguised Porsche 911 Targa Spy Shots

Inside, previous spy shots have shown that a number of subtle changes will be adopted with the new 911 Turbo for example, set to receive a steering wheel baring similarities to the Porsche 918 Spyder’s.
