Mercedes-Benz GLS filmed with little camouflage

A prototype of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLC has just been spied in the midst of testing wearing almost no camouflage. Consequently, it provides us with an almost completely unimpeded view of the luxury German SUV set to arrive before the end of the year.

For starters, we know that the facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLS which will replace the Mercedes-Benz GL, will receive a number of visual modifications. They will start at the front with a revised grille, a different bumper and redesigned headlights. The changes will then be completed at the rear with different taillights, tweaked exhaust pipes and a restyled bumper.

As for the variants which will be offered, it is suggested that the GLS350, GLS450, GLS550 and GLS63 AMG models will all be carried over to this facelifted model. A new model to join the range will be the GLS400 with it pinned to utilise a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine delivering 333 hp and capable of sending the car to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and a 240 km/h top speed.
