Earlier this year, the penthouse at the One57 building in New York City became the city’s most expensive apartment ever sold after bringing in an extraordinary $100.5 million at auction.

The final sale price also makes it the first apartment to sell for over $100 million in New York City and it is one of just a few penthouses in the One57 tower. All told, it includes 11000 square feet of space and is spread across the 89th and 90th floors.

Among the key features are six bedrooms, an indoor movie theatre, a library as well as a steam room. Additionally, residents of the One57 tower have unlimited access to all the amenities provided by the Park Hyatt hotel which is found in the first 39 floors of the building.

Unsurprisingly, no details about the wealthy buyer have been released but on top of the sheer size and luxury the penthouse offers, it also includes unadulterated views of New York City.
