Essen Motor Show 2014 proved to be one of the very best in recent years with a selection of the world’s best tuners coming out in force to Europe’s version of SEMA.

The highlight of Essen this year was quite possibly ABT Sportsline who debuted their brand new tuned 2015 Audi TT. As not just one of the first third-generation Audi TTs to be modified by an aftermarket company, ABT’s is particularly eye-catching thanks to its new visual and aerodynamic elements combined with some impressive power and torque gains. Additionally, ABT brought along its RS6-R and 400 hp Volkswagen Golf R.

Elsewhere, Mansory’s always head-turning Aventador Carbonado Roadster was on display at the H&R stand with its unique carbon fibre finish and brand new bodywork drawing in the crowds unlike any other car on display.

Manhart Racing brought a triple threat of new vehicles to the Essen Motor Show 2014 with their MH4 550 BMW M4, the MH2 400 BMW M235i and the firm’s customised BMW i8. With 550 hp on tap, the M4 based MH4 550 was perhaps the most exceptional but the performance specifications of the MH2 400 as well as its widebody kit are exceptionally impressive as well. Lorinser also turned out in force with its exclusive S-Class and C-Class models.

From a non-tuning perspective, there was a silver Mercedes-AMG GT as well as the BMW M3 MotoGP Safety Car.
