The Mercedes-Benz SL has always been a popular car of choice among the world’s premium car tuners with a host of aftermarket bodykits and performance upgrades available. One of the lesser known kits comes courtesy of Polish tuner Suhorovsky Design.

Named the SR66.2, the widebody kit adds a real sense of extra presence and flair to the SL with wheel arches clearly reminiscent of those from the range-topping SL65 AMG Black Series. Additionally, the bodykit sees the addition of a new vented bonnet, brand new front fascia incorporating a different bumper as well as carbon fibre canards. As Auto Evolution rightly points out, the lower section of the bumper is quite similar to the Porsche 918 Spyder’s.

At the sides, blacked out grilles are found along with extended side skirts and a set of gloss black wheels. Finally, Suhorovsky Design has overhauled the tail-end by fitting a new bootlid lip spoiler, bumper and diffuser.
