New Rolls-Royce Model Confirmed for 2016

A new Rolls-Royce model has been confirmed for a launch in 2016 and it is very likely, almost certainly, set to be the long rumoured and recently spied Rolls-Royce Wraith Drophead.

As you can imagine, the Rolls-Royce Wraith Drophead will remain identical to the Wraith coupe with the exception of a fixed roof. In its place will be a folding cloth top and when it hits the market, it will serve as the perfect rival to the Bentley Continental GT Convertible as well as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet set to be revealed soon.

When discussing the announcement of a new Rolls-Royce model, the company’s chief executive officer Torsten Müller-Ötvös said “I am truly delighted to confirm today the development of our new model which will open an exciting new chapter in the great story of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. We are currently developing an exciting and thoroughly contemporary interpretation of a pinnacle drophead tourer which will introduce even more discerning men and women to Rolls-Royce ownership.”
