Facelifted 2015 Mercedes-Benz M-Class Rendered

Alongside the recent release of the Mercedes-Benz GLA and the impending unveil of the MLC which was recently spied testing, the German marque is also working on a facelift for the current M-Class SUV. In order to give us an idea of just how the 2015 model year M-Class could look, Design RM has created the following renderings.

Very few details about the facelifted 2015 Mercedes-Benz M-Class are known just yet. However, because it is just a facelift, don’t expect to see any radical powertrain upgrades because in that department, all is likely to stay as is. However, that certainly isn’t a bad thing. As it stands, the current M-Class now in its third-generation, is available with a 3.5-liter V6, a 4.6-liter bi-turbo V8, 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8, 2.1-liter diesel inline four and a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6.

From a visual standpoint, Design RM has imagined the new M-Class with slightly tweaked headlights, a prominent chromed out front grille, modified wing mirrors as well as taillights more in line with the company’s current styling language. Consequently, they feature similar curvaceous LEDs like those on the CLA.
