Icon, a term that is often used frivolously in the automotive industry. Eleanor was the name given to the 1971 Ford Mustang Sportsroof, not the car that features as todays Photo Of The Day. This car found its fame in the hit movie which climaxes with Nicholas Cage behind the wheel of a customized 1967 Mustang fastback in the ‘Gone in 60 Seconds’ movie remake.
The car looks nothing short of sublime with its perfectly balanced profile and gorgeous colour scheme complete with two think dark stripes.
