Audi RS3 Coming Next Year With 367hp

A host of exciting details about the long awaited, next-generation Audi RS3 have emerged and if proven to be true, then the latest RS5 could be a real game changer.

According to new rumours, the 2015 Audi RS3 will utilise a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering a total of 367 hp. This powerful forced induction engine will then drive all four wheel’s through the quattro all-wheel drive system via an S tronic transmission.

Because these pieces of information are still speculation at this point, no performance details about the next-gen Audi RS3 are known. However, if proven true, the RS3 could easily sprint to 100 km/h from a standstill in the low four second range. By comparison, the previous-generation Audi RS3 features a 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder delivering 335 hp helping it to hit 100 km/h in a mere 4.6 seconds.

Alongside the new Audi RS3, it is reported that it could be available with a dynamic package. This dynamic package will likely add some handling improvements as well as some visual tweaks.

The spy shot you see above isn’t exactly new, but it essentially shows a standard S3 body. However, under the skin is where the real changes are taking place.

A launch late this year or early next year before deliveries commence mid next year is likely.
