The World of Wheels Auto Show roared into Calgary, Canada, over the weekend, bringing with it a large selection of aftermarket cars from the surrounding area.

The show gave owners and enthusiasts the opportunity to display their own cars in front of crowds of individuals throughout this three-day event.

Though the event often does not attract many supercars or luxury cars, it gives those with an interest in automotives the chance to explore the world of customs cars from the past.

GTspirit.com was invited to attend this year’s event to showcase some of Calgary’s custom car scene to the world.

Present at this year’s event were numerous Porsche’s, Datsun’s and Camaro’s spanning five decades. Some highlights included a pair of HPE700 Camaro’s from Hennessey Performance, a 2011 Camaro wearing an aftermarket Firebird body kit, a vintage Porsche Speedster and plenty of hot rods and tuners.

Everything from modified 350Z’s to Scion FR-S’, Porsche Targa’s to Asanti-widebody Dodge Challenger’s, this show had it all.

Now that the auto show season is in full swing in Calgary, we’ll be bringing you coverage of all the local supercar meets and events in 2014!
