Official: 100th Anniversary Dodge Charger and Challenger Editions

To help celebrate 100 years of Dodge, the company has release two special editions of the Charger and Challenger understandably called the 100th Anniversary Editions.

Both the new 2014 Dodge Charger 100th Anniversary Edition and the 2014 Dodge Challenge 100th Anniversary Edition feature unique styling most notably with the new ‘High Octane’ pearl red paint job, new 20-inch aluminium wheels, commemorative badging and a unique key fob. Additionally, both cars come standard with a limited-edition owner’s kit and a commemorative book celebrating the 100th anniversary of Dodge.

While the High Octane red is new, both the 2014 Dodge Charger 100th Anniversary Edition and the 2014 Dodge Challenge 100th Anniversary Edition are available in Pitch Black, Bright White, Billet Silver, Granite Crystal, Ivory Tri-Coat, Phantom Black and Header Orange.

Inside, the Charger 100th Anniversary Edition can be optioned with new Molten Red or Foundry Black Nappa leather with a unique cloud overprint wrapping the seats, center console and door armrests. Additionally, this Charger features a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle sifters. It also comes standard with an 8.4-inch touchscreen incorporating Beats by Dr. Dre audio with a 10-speaker surround sound system and 552 watt amplifier.

Under the hood, the 2014 Dodge Charger 100th Anniversary Edition is available with a 3.6-liter V6 with 300 hp or a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 producing a potent 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque.

By comparison, the 2014 Dodge Challenge 100th Anniversary Edition includes the same Nappa leather options and comes with diecast circular badges reading ‘Dodge Est. 1914’. The Challenger is also available with the same engines with each unit producing 5 hp more than their Charger counterparts.
