BMW tuning specialists, AC Schnitzer, have brought along their rather impressive ACS4 Coupe to this years Essen Motor Show. When a new BMW is announced, the technicians at AC Schnitzer get to work immediately planning on what the can do to improve on what the Bavarians have already spent millions on creating.

Customers will be able to choose their performance upgrade depending on the model. Performance upgrades are available for the following models; the BMW 420i (up from 181 hp to 245 hp – export version), the BMW 428i (up from 242 hp to 294 hp), the BMW 435i (up from 306 hp to 360 hp), the BMW 420d (up from 181 hp to 218 hp), the BMW 430d (up from 254 hp to 309 hp) and the BMW 435d (up from 309 hp to 360 hp).

The BMW 4-series Coupé gets AC Schnitzer twin stainless steel sports rear silencers with chromed tailpipe trims. Suspension is lowered by 25 mm compared with the base model. A racing suspension option is adjustable in both compression and rebound stages.

AC Schnitzer offers an extensive bodystyling package which consists of a chromed front grille (M-Technik vehicles), rear roof spoiler, rear spoiler, rear skirt protection foil, front spoiler and rear diffuser.

Inside, AC Schnitzer offer a gear knob which comes with digital gear display, illuminated in leather or a “Black Line“ aluminium gear knob. A Black Line aluminium handbrake handle, aluminium pedal set, AC Schnitzer foot rest, keyholder and velour foot mats are also available.

AC Schnitzer wheel sets include Type VIII BiColor rims in black or silver, Type VIII forged alloys and forged racing rims in BiColor, Type IV rims in silver or BiColor black, and Type VI rims in BiColor. All come in a variety of sizes!
