The Tesla Model S. A fully electric sporty saloon that will hit 100km/h in a stunning 4.3 seconds, a respectable time for a saloon with a combustion engine under the hood. This car however, complete with a very fitting registration plate, will be going nowhere fast. The car was slammed into by another car that had missed a red light as the driver was using her mobile phone. The accident was a real life test that proved how well constructed the all electric cars are. The driver walked away from the wreckage unscathed and commented on the cars safety saying ‘This is the safest car on the road hands down, and for me, I can say honestly say it saved my life.’ The high-impact accident left the cars main structure in very good shape, the air bags did not even deploy.

The driver of the vehicle that caused the major accident travelled away from the scene in an Ambulance and required hospital attention. The owner continued saying ‘Tesla called my home shortly afterwards saying that they received multiple alarms from the car and wanted to make sure I was ok. They picked up my car free of charge and transported it 50 miles to the nearest service center. They are also arranging a loaner Model S.’ It was also reported that no liquids seeped from the cars batteries.
