After previewing its radical Porsche Panamera package a few days ago, TechArt has officially revealed the TechArt GrandGT ahead of its world debut at the upcoming IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2013. Based on the standard yet still potent Porsche Panamera Turbo, the TechArt GrandGT includes a dramatically redesigned bodykit as well as some minor performance modifications.

From a visual standpoint, the TechArt GrandGT aerodynamic kit consists of a completely new front apron with integrated splitter and large air intakes. These larger intakes dramatically help airflow through the brakes. Joining the new front apron are the TechArt Multifunctional Daytime Running Light System which combines daytime running lights, navigation lights, parking lighter and indicators all in one housing.

The TechArt GrandGT then features a carbon fiber hood with additional air outlets designed to improve the heat balance inside the engine bay of the Porsche Panamera. Additionally, they provide extra air for the 4.8-liter bi-turbo V8 engine to breath. The kit then includes aggressive TechArt side skirts and wheel arch extensions meaning the GrandGT now measures 42mm wider at the front and 84mm wider at the rear compared to the standard Panamera Turbo.

From the rear, the TechArt GrandGT includes the TechArt rear spoiler III as well as a TechArt roof spoiler. Additionally, the TechArt GrandGT then incorporates a new rear bumper as well as dual oval exhaust pipes as part of the TechArt sports exhaust system.

Under the hood, TechArt offers its very own Power Kit for the Porsche Panamera Turbo. Through some tinkering with the engine management systems, TechArt can increase power to 580 raging ponies.

Expect to see more of the TechArt GrandGT when we visit Frankfurt soon!
