RM Auctions adds second London Date

RM Auctions’ annual London sale is one of the most successful on the European collector car calendar and will be further enhanced this year by its new association with the St James’s Concours of Elegance. This year it will be a two-day sale for the first time in its seven year history.

The company has just announced that it has consigned a spectacular single-owner collection of 74 historic Mercedes-Benz to its London event. It goes under the hammer on Sunday, September 8. Monday, September 9 sees the spectacular Laidlaw Competition Car Collection up for sale (including the D Type Jaguar pictured above), one of the finest collections of sports racing cars ever to be assembled by a single owner.

Additionally RM Auctions lifts the gavel on the iconic 007 Lotus Esprit ‘submarine’ car used in the James Bond film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’, never before offered for sale. Preview day is on Saturday, September 7.
