The Maserati Ghibli has officially been priced with the Ghibli 3.0 V6 diesel starting off the pricing list at € 87 831. The new model from Maserati which seeks to boost their sales numbers while increasing their production numbers was unveiled at the Shanghai Motor Show 2013.

The Ghibli was launched back in 1967, designed by the young Giorgetto Giugiaro and has been reincarnated again in what you now see. so far, they have introduced four variants of this car: the Ghibli, Ghibli S, Ghibli S Q4 and the Ghibli Diesel. Looking at the new Ghibli, one will notice the inspirations borrowed from the GranTurismo and the A6 GCS Berlinetta the latter being a legend from the past.

All engines will be mated to ZF eight-speed automatic transmissions with paddle shifters. Although the car won’t be available with a traditional manual, Maserati will thankfully offer the Maserati Ghibli in both all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive configurations.

Ghibli 3.0 V6 Bi-Turbo 243 kW (330 hp) – From € 87 831, ($114,373) – incl BPM / VAT
Ghibli S 3.0 V6 Bi-Turbo 301 kW (410 hp) – From € 109 476, ($142,559) – incl BPM / VAT
Ghibli S 3.0 V6 Bi-Turbo 4WD 301 kW (410 hp) – From € 114 705, ($149,368) – incl BPM / VAT

  1. Are you claiming the Ghibli will start at 104,000 US Dollars? Using direct conversion, as you did here, would make the S Q4 cost 20 grand more than a Quattroporte Q4…
