During Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary Grande Giro through Italy a few weeks ago, Lamborghini premiered the one-off Lamborghini Egoista Concept. However, another new model also debuted at the conclusion of the event in the form of a Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario Roadster.
Lamborghini initially kicked off its celebrations for its 50th anniversary with the Aventador range when it unveiled that Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario. However, as we know from Lamborghini in the past, when a new coupe variant is created, a convertible version typically follows suit.
LamboCARS reports that participants in the Grande Giro were invited to a Gala Dinner at the conclusion of the historic Lamborghini run through Italy and attendees were presented with a yellow Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario coupe and a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 50th Anniversario. In between them was the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario Roadster finished in a shade of matte grey called Grigio Titans and completed with a Terra Emilia leather interior.
Grigio Titans is actually similar to the shade present on the Lamborghini Reventon and Lamborghini Reventon Roadster and it’s believed that on top of the 100 Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario coupes being produced, an additional 100 units of the Roadster variant will be offered for customers.
Under the hood, the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversario Roadster features the same uprated 720hp 6.5-liter V12 as the coupe variant.
Official images of the car have yet to be released, but the following images of the car were snapped. If any more information is released in the coming days, we’ll be sure to bring it to you as soon as possible!
