Ford GT with HRE Wheels

This is a rare yellow Ford GT, part of a private collection by Davenport Motorsports from Alberta, Canada. The sports car was recently fitted with new upgrades among them being wheels. Davenport Motorsports is one of the oldest auto tuners from Canada and has engaged deeply in both worlds of tuning and motorsports. Most notable is their multiple partnerships with wheels and tire manufacturers suchas ADV.1 wheels, Forgeline and HRE Wheels.

This particular car was originally fitted with a different set of wheels before the tuner brought it in from the private collector. Afterwards they would fit it with HRE C 103 wheel series finished in black to match the traditional black livery on the Ford GT.

Just a recap, the Ford GT uses a 5.4 L Modular V8 engine fed by a Lysholm twin screw-type supercharger and the couple is good for 550hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. When mated to the Ricardo six-speed manual transmission the Ford GT sprints from naught to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed which is electronically limited to 330km/h. With 4,038 units of this car being made, the price was above the $100,000 mark, its MSRP would later rise to $149,995.
