Porsche 911 GT3 RS

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is one of the most prestigious and bewildering models in the 911 family, introduced as homologation cars by Porsche in the various racing series that it participates in including the FIA GT3 Cup. This particular one is the 997 series of the Porsche 911 and was photographed by Marcel Lech, the photographer from British Columbia who showed us a supercar gallery from the region.

Just a reminder, the Porsche 997 GT3 RS came in various powerhouses with the top of the range being the famed 4.0 liter inspired by the RSR variant and was good for a 493 hp at 8250 rpm and 460 N•m of torque at 5750 rpm. The 0-100km/h time was in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 310km/h, this was similar to the 3.8 liter flat-six variants that developed a lesser power of 444hp and a naught to 100km/h increasing by 0.1 seconds to 4 seconds. There was also a 3.6 liter flat-six engine powering the first generation of the 997 GT3 RS.

This particular one is also unique since it sports the unique orange accented by a black theme on the hood and the signatory black livery on the sides reading “GT3 RS”
