Mercedes-benz SL 500 AMG

As from 2013, the Mercedes-Benz SL 350 and SL 500 will be available with AMG packages, and since we are into 2013 already, this move will take effect as from June 2013. As for the already equipped Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG, it will receive additional equipment. The Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG has no changes on it.
The value for the named packages is priced at £6,625 and this will include the AMG Sports Package for the interior and exterior, an electric glass sunroof, and Parkronic with Active Park Assist.

This particular AMG Sports Package will come with 19 inch AMG and five spoke wheels, sports suspension lowered by 10mm that features revised damper settings; AMG bodystyling that will be applied on the side skirts, front and rear aprons and a body-colored boot lip. The SL 350 will get an upgraded braking system with perforated rear brake disks; and grey brake calipers with ‘Mercedes-Benz’ lettering.

These cars will now feature the 7-Tronic Plus transmission with ‘S’ mode that now sports the modified shift points. The interior will not be compromised wither as it will feature sports seats with perforated leather, verticle fluting while the door armrests will be finished in designo Platinum White Pearl piping, same finish will go on the centre console, seat side bolsters and head restraints. The sports steering wheel will feature silver gear shift paddles and perforated leather in grip areas while the driver will enjoy the chequered flag-design instrument cluster, AMG floor mats and black fabric roof lining.

The paint choices will now include one non-metallic paint and five metallic paints, including new Polar White as standard and still with the cost option of two addition colors such as the new Hyacinth Red costing £690. There is black leather which is now standard in the range and with a cost option of Bengal Red or Porcelain nappa leather at £710. The standard trim is in Light Brushed Aluminum, with Black Ash Wood available as a £345 option.

The driver and passenger in the SL 63 AMG will enjoy an electric panoramic glass sunroof and Parktronic with Active Park Assist to come as options all at a value of £1,500. The prices for the SL 350 AMG Sport start at £69,960 OTR, SL 500 AMG Sport at £79,970 OTR and SL 63 AMG at £110,785 OTR.
