Video: 915hp Chevrolet Corvette C6 vs 900hp Dodge Viper SRT10

The American supercar scene has long been dominated by the Chevrolet Corvette and the original Dodge Viper and with new generations of both car’s being released in the past 12 months, this fierce battle is set to continue for years to come.

Despite the launches of their successors, the Chevrolet Corvette C6 and final-iteration of the Dodge Viper SRT10 still remain extremely popular among tuning companies as evidenced by the following 1,800hp duo filmed drag racing each other.

The Chevrolet Corvette C6 in this battle features a widebody kit, as well as a 915hp supercharged V8 engine while the Dodge Viper produces an equally impressive 900hp from its 8.3-liter supercharged V10 engine.

Making these cars even more equal is the fact that both feature traditional manual transmissions and are rear-wheel drive which makes for a very interesting battle!
