Fire Painting a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

As you all know, we love appreciating photography work and that is evident by the large amounts of work we feature from various photographers, in that regard, we bring you a special piece of photography work based on fire painting and done by Van Elder Photography a member of Supercardriver.com. Fire painting is a photographic lighting technique where one moves the fire source around the object to create a paint effect at low shutter speeds.

In this particular fire painting project, the object was a Lamborghini Gallardo Spider in white, there’s also a video that shows behind the scenes action during the fire painting. Basically they have a burning object and they move it around the sports car while the photographer takes the shots. Quite an interesting piece of photography and it shows how innovative one can get behind the shutter!
