Bugatti Veyron at Autotrader Live Show in Dubai

Dubai has been known to be one of the hotspots for supercars, attribute this fact to the business going around and with no personal income taxes, the occupants of the Emirate who are 80% foreigners then treat their income salaries to such luxuries as sportcars. Autotrader Magazine of UAE decided to celebrate their 500th edition after 14 years by organizing a supercar show at the Dubai Festival City, gathering more than 300 supercars which were all for sale.

Photographer Robert James attended the event and managed to get the best of the shots of the cars in attendance; the event ran from 28th February to 2nde March and received over 50,000 visitors. The turnout included rare supercars such as the Aston Martin One-77, Koenigsegg CCXR, two Ferrari Enzos and a Bugatti Veyron 16.4. To even more rare, there was the South African, Porsche engined Barnard, a Mustang sitting on 26 inch rims, a Range Rover covered in Dirham coins and a Bentley Continental GTC with a 101 carat diamond bonnet.

Tuners were not left behind, remembering most European tuners have the largest number of customers from this region, the UAE; they included Hamann, Mansory and FAB Design amongst others. The Mega Star stand stole the show and it consisted of a line-up of some of the most exclusive cars such as the Jaguar XJ220, Ferrari F40 and Fisker Karma.
