Reported official design mock-ups of the upcoming Maserati Ghibli sedan have been leaked online which showcase just what we were expecting; a car looking extremely similar to the Maserati Quattroporte albeit on a slightly smaller scale.
As a result of this, these images depict the Maserati Ghibli featuring a front grille similar although smaller to that of the Quattroporte’s, as well as traditional Maserati curves and Quattroporte-esque taillights.
Additionally, these design mock-ups showcase the Maserati Ghibli featuring complete LED headlights and a dual exhaust system.
When the Maserati Ghibli is eventually revealed, reportedly as early as this year’s Shanghai Auto Show, it’s expected to be offered with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 producing 385hp and a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine packing an impressive 480hp.
It’s currently unclear how the original source received these images.
