1935 Duesenberg Model SJ Convertible Sells for $4.51 Million at Amelia Island Concours

An extremely rare 1935 Duesenberg Model SJ Walker-LaGrande Convertible Coupe, one of just three produced, has sold for an incredible $4.51 million at RM Auction’s Amelia Island sale.

Making this car even more exclusive is the fact that it’s the only supercharged variant ever produced and its sale price makes it the top seller of this year’s Amelia Island Coucours.

Car Specialist from RM Auctions, Gord Duff said, “Our Amelia Island auction is always a highlight of our global calendar, and this year’s sale was another incredible success for RM. The results achieved for the Duesenberg and the Stutz in particular illustrate that great cars are continuing to attract great prices at auction. We look forward to continuing the momentum at our upcoming Don Davis and Lake Como sales.”
