A rare Ferrari 458 Italia twin-turbo by Underground Racing has speared off a runway in the U.S. at a recent Festival of Speed event.
During a high-speed run, the driver reportedly ran out of room to stop and flew straight off the runway and into surrounding shrubbery.
Fortunately the driver was uninjured, but the same cannot be said for the unique Ferrari.
In standard form, the Ferrari 458 Italia is already an impressive supercar, but Underground Racing’s twin-turbo kit lifts power to between 700hp and 1000hp depending on the selected specification and as a result, it comes as no surprise that such a car would be a real handful!

Is "running out of room to stop" the same as "a real handful"..
Its probably a good idea to run Carbon Ceramic brakes and a chute if your going to run the car to them speeds.
Holy Fuck!
He was trying to hit 180mph…I guess that was more important than stopping.
