BMW M6 Gran Coupe

The Geneva Motor Show 2013 see’s the official European unveiling of the BMW M6 Gran Coupe amid fierce competition from their German rivals and the Audi RS7 Sportback. The BMW M6 Gran Coupe is still drawing a fair amount of attention though! We sent a photographer across to check it out.

There’s little surprise as to the specs of the car, or to the design either if you’ve already seen the BMW M6 Coupe and Cabriolet. The BMW M6 Gran Coupe gets the same V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology as the Coupe and Cabriolet. It feature peak power outputs of up to 560hp and 680Nm of torque allowing for a 0 to 100km/h sprint time of just 4.2 seconds, which is faster than the BMW F10M M5.

As far as visual changes go, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe gets a new front bumper with larger air intakes, standard Adaptive LED Headlights and an M kidney grille. Of course, the Gran Coupe is 113-millimeter longer than the Coupe which gives it a completely different look. Changes include flared wheel arches, M gills, a high-gloss Shadow Line package, a new diffuser and a set of twin exhaust tailpipes. We love the carbon fibre roof.
