Official: Mercedes-Benz S 350 BlueTEC AMG Sport Edition

Just prior to the outgoing Mercedes-Benz S-Class being retired and replaced by its much hyped-about replacement, Mercedes has decided to offer a special edition model of the current car specifically for the British market dubbed the S 350 BlueTEC AMG Sport Edition.

Don’t let the AMG nameplate fool you however, as this special edition hasn’t been tinkered with under the hood by AMG, and instead just features some more aggressive styling elements from the AMG department, including new front and rear aprons, a set of 20-inch AMG wheels and black brake calipers.

The Mercedes-Benz S 350 BlueTEC AMG Sport Edition can be ordered as a standalone car for 69,995 pounds on road, or added to existing S-Class models for 11,493 pounds with monthly payments of 499 pounds for 24 months.

As a result of such a hefty price tag, Mercedes-Benz also went about improving the already impressive interior of the S-Class by fitting it with new illuminated door sills, an electric panoramic glass sunroof, wood and leather trimmed steering wheel, Black Ash Wood trim, AMG-branded floor mats and studded stainless steel sports pedal.

Additionally, the Mercedes-Benz S 350 BlueTEC AMG Sport Edition includes a reversing camera, Keyless Go, a Harmon Kardon front seat entertainment system, 14 speakers, a set of headphones, DAB digital radio and remote control.
