German tuning company CDC Performance recently got their hands on the brand-new 2012 Ferrari California and have turned the supercar into a true McLaren MP4-12C competitor with their latest tuning kit for the Italian car.

As the pictures in the following gallery show, the Ferrari California by CDC Performance has not undergone any major exterior or interior modifications like we have become used to from firms such as Mansory and Hamann, as the German firm decided to instead focus on the powerplant.

Nonetheless, some exterior modifications have been performed including a new carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber rear diffuser and carbon fiber front grille. The visual changes are then topped off by an impressive set of black and red ten-spoke alloy wheels.

CDC Performance fitted a supercharger system with intercooling which increases horsepower by 117 ponies and torque is lifted by 70lb-ft. As a result, this impressive California produces 600bhp and 442lb-ft of torque. On top of this, the tuner fitted a new exhaust system.

To conclude the modifications, CDC Performance fitted a suspension lift system to the car which can lower and raise the ride height by 40 millimeters whenever needed.
