Koenigsegg is reaching its 100th production car and to celebrate this occation, the Swedish company is planning to release a new model in their Agera family. This is the Koenigsegg “Agera R Hundra”, an one of a kind supercar and car number one hundred leaving the Koenigsegg car factory. The name “Hyndra” comes from the Swedish word for hundred.

The piping is hand made by Koenigsegg craftsmen in 24 carat gold leafing and it has 24 carat gold thread embroidery on the seats and dash board. The exterior received a special color trim on the body work and the wheels. The aerodynamics stayed the same as the standard Agera R.

Same goes for the performance. Underneath the mechanicals are shared with the 2013 Koenigsegg Agera R. It features Koenigsegg’s in-house developed 5.0-litre twin-turbo-charged V8 engine which produces 960hp with 93 octane fuel and 1140hp with E85. For the 2013 model Koenigsegg made eight changes to ensure that the package remains an attractive proposition for hypercar buyers. A sprint from naught to 100km/h is done in 2.9 seconds, to 200km/h in 7.5 seconds.

The Hundra features the world’s first hollow, one piece, super light carbon fiber wheel saving 20kgs of weight. Fuel consumption is reduced through the use of nano-surfaced cylinder sleeves and a new ECU which also raises the rev limit to 7,500rpm. The 2013 Agera R and Agera R Hundra benefit from a lighter exhaust, front winglets, unique Triplex suspension and an electronic stability program which become standard across the Agera range.
