The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse has finally arrived in South America. Therefore the French manufacturer has presented a special edition of the most powerful serial produced roadster in the world.

The latest edition of the Veyron has been dubbed the Grand Sport Vitesse Rafale. This car has been unveiled at the Volkswagen Group Night just before the São Paulo International Motor Show, which is being held in Brazil’s largest city from 22 October to 04 November.

The Grand Sport Vitesse is painted in “Gris Rafale”, while the roof area, air scoops, air brake and some parts of the back are in blue visible carbon. This contrast of colours is found again in the interior featuring lake blue leather seats with light grey used for the contrasting stitching and the Vitesse labelling on the seats.

The specifications of the engine is something you may be familiar with. A small recap: the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is powered by a 8.0 liter W16 engine which puts out an impressive 1,200 horsepower at 6,400rpm. The peak torque of 1,500Nm is reached in between the 3,000 and 5,000rpm. These figures allow the car to reach 100km/h from standing in 2.6 seconds, its top speed is 410km/h.

The price tag of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse as presented in São Paulo is 1.9 million Euros, whereas the base price of the Vitesse lays at 1.69 million Euros (without tax and transportation).
