Details on the finished Lamborghini LP2000-2 SV Twin Turbo project have surfaced. We first reported on David Wiggins Lamborghini LP670-4 SV conversion back in January. Since then it received a complete rear wheel drive conversion, and was recently unveiled at the Pittsburgh Cars and Coffee Hanger Party.

The Lamborghini LP2000-2 SV TT features custom ADV.1 wheels and a weight saving program that strips 550lbs of weight from the car. At of this is due to the rear wheel drive conversion, the new exhaust system and removal of unnecessary sound deadening.

You’ll notice from the video below that the owner didn’t start the car. We’re told that this is because of EPA guidelines that mean they were not allowed to use lead in the ECU system. We’re promised that it should run in the next few weeks.

The Lamborghini LP2000-2 SV TT features a custom throttle body, a custom billet aluminium plenum, five inch cold air intakes, a custom 12 inch exhaust system, a custom Garrett GTX-4294 twin-turbo conversion alongside many other changes. In total it has taken the team at Covert Tuning Dynamics over 3,000 hours of build time along with four years of research and development.

As the name suggests, it features 2,000rwhp. It gets a six point roll-cage, a strut brace and according to the owner, the cylinders are sleeved. It also features an intercooler and some NASA heat shielding. A custom battery is fitted and a custom sound system. The exterior gets a complete satin and matt finish, matching brake colours, a carbon fuel door and matt carbon side mirrors.

We now want to see it running!
