Audi USA has released four new editions of the Audi R8 saying farewell to the current version ahead of the release of the new upgraded 2013 car. Only twenty units will be made available in V8 spec and thirty in V10 spec. They are all exclusive to the US market.

The 2012 Audi Exclusive Selection Edition R8 V8 has a Daytona Gray matte exterior complete with carbon fiber exterior splitter and diffuser, 19 inch titanium five double spoke wheels, black grille surround, black exhaust finishers, R8 GT tail lamps, and red brake calipers.

The interior has an exclusive leather package with Crimson Red trims and contrast stitching, a leather navigation surround, and a thicker contoured leather multifunctional steering wheel. The 4.2 liter FSI V8 engine produces 430hp and is linked to either a manual or R-tronic transmission.

The 2012 Exclusive Selection Edition R8 V10 is dressed in Ibis white. The exterior package features sideblade, exterior mirrors, and rear license plate surround all in Brilliant Black. The Audi R8 GT tail lamps and 19 inch bi-color e-tron wheels finish off the exterior looks.

On the inside there are Ibis finishes and Alabaster White contrast stitching, a leather navigation surround and a contoured steering wheel. The 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine produces 525hp and also available with manual or R-tronic transmission.

The 2012 Exclusive Selection Edition R8 V8 with manual transmission is available for $137,700, the R tronic for $146,800. The 2012 Exclusive Selection Edition R8 V10 with manual transmission swaps owner for $161,500 and the R tronic version is $170,600.
