KW released a set of coilovers named the Variant 3+ “inox-line”, designed for the new Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG. The new suspension kit can lower the car by betwee 5 – 25mm at the front axle and 15 – 35mm at the rear axle. The rebound valves in the piston rod are also adjustable by 16 clicks and the compression, by 12 clicks.

The kit is TÜV approved and is constructed from high quality stainless steel. It’s hoped that the new coilovers will make it easy to adjust the handling and comfort to the owners personal preferences.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year. It boasts a 5.5 liter V8 with a maximum output of 421hp at 6,800rpm and a maximum torque of 540Nm at 4,500rpm.
