Two weeks ago McLaren Automotive released their upgraded and enhanced 2013 McLaren MP4-12C officially. Headlining the changes was a 25hp power increase. It takes the maximum output of the mid mounted, twin turbocharged V8 engine to 625hp. Modifications have been made by McLaren’s engineers to the 12C’s engine and SSG transmission increasing responsiveness.
Today we can tell you that the new upgraded version of the McLaren MP4-12C makes its official public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012 next week. The model on display is the first second generation MP4-12C to roll of the production line in Woking. Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton – both F1 drivers for the McLaren F1 team – will drive the 2013 MP4-12C up Goodwood Hill!
