We received a tip today about an Audi RS6 that recently burnt down in Abu Dhabi. The pictures don’t do much to clarify the situation, but it seems that the owner returned from a high-speed trip, parked the car at his house, walked away and came back to find the front ablaze.

The reasons for the blaze aren’t certain at the moment, our tipster suggests that heat from the brakes ignited something inside the engine bay. Obviously, the whole car will now end up being a write off. Luckily nobody was injured.

The moral we take from this story is to always check that the modifications you make to your own car are designed to fit! The cause of the accident is of course unknown though.
