The new Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari has or Enzo Ferrari Museum has officially opened its doors on the tenth of March. Whereas the Ferrari museum in Maranello — located only a half hour away — is focused on the cars made by Ferrari, the museum in Modena will emphasize more on the life and work of Enzo Ferrari.

The building with 54,000 square feet of floor space will feature an exhibition, a gallery with prestigious cars, historical artifacts and memorabilia. There is also an digital archive which provides access to a wide range of drawings and documents showing the motoring history of Modena. A conference room, space for exhibitions, cafeteria, and bookshop will complete the facility.

The Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari is open every day except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The opening times are between 9.30 and 18.00 (1st October / 30th April) and between 9.30 / 19.00 (1st May / 30th September). It’s possible to buy a single ticket for Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari, or a through ticket that also grants a discounted access to the Museo Ferrari in Maranello.
