We’ve been sitting on these photos for a while, they show the Pagani Zonda 760RS, probably the last special edition Pagani Zonda to ever leave the production line. The reason for not sharing this picture? It actually doesn’t reveal much about the car itself! We’ve only managed to gather a small amount of information, pictures and a few extra details about the car but we’ll share with you what we now know.

The Pagani Zonda 760RS was actually covered up when we visited the Pagani Factory late last year. It originated as the Pagani Zonda 750 which is presumed to have never been produced. The 760RS came as an evolution of this project. The 750 is said to have been ditched after the customer, an Arab family decided not to go ahead with the build.

Some time afterwards, negotiations with another customer meant that Pagani started producing a final Zonda. This time for a customer either in Chile or in China. Our photo comes from a Chinese visitor to the factory, the car could have headed over there. The more likely rumour is that it is a Chilean car.

As the name suggests, this is the most extreme Zonda ever. It features a 760hp engine, some 90hp more than the Zonda Cinque and 20hp more than the Zonda R. Instead of lifting the engine from the Zonda R, insiders say that it uses a Zonda F as the basis with a range of enhancements, most likely lifted in part from the Zonda R.

The styling of this car makes it instantly distinctive from any other Zonda we’ve seen. It features a fin that runs down the center of the car used for stabilizing the air flux behind the rear window. It gets a sequential gearbox, a carbon finish exterior and black interior. It also gets a complete set of Cinque parts including the rear air ducts and the roof air intake.

We’re told that the car has probably already been delivered to its new owner so we’re not expecting to see many new photos from the factory. In the mean time, take a look at the gallery of pictures we’ve gathered. Let us know if you have any more information to share!

  1. They never said that themselves. Clarkson has said it many times but Horacio has always said that they will continue producing Zondas alongside with the Huyara. Now it’s up to AMG how long can they continue.
