Prindiville Design has unveiled their take on the Land Rover Defender. Both the inside and outside of the British four-wheel-drive off-road vehicle has been upgraded.

The Limited Edition Land Rover is based on the latest Defender 90 Hard Top model and features enhancements to the suspension, braking system, cooling, and engine. Performance has been tweaked by Defender specialists Alive Tuning. There is a choice of four different power upgrades, which gradually increase the output of the 2.4 liter TDi powerplant from 122 to 190bhp.

The most powerful upgrade includes a high-flow intercooler and turbocharger, resulting in a peak torque of 460Nm. Thanks to this the Defender is capable of accelerating from standstill to 100km/h in ten seconds. The engine is standard coupled with a six-speed manual transmission, but Prindiville Design also offers an automatic or tiptronic gearbox.

The London based bespoke coachbuilder fitted 18 inch five-spoke alloy wheels, which accommodates a high performance braking system with six-pot callipers and sport discs. The Defender also features a titanium high performance sports exhaust and a revised suspension.

The outside is further enhanced via a rear Prindiville signature badge, chrome side protection runners, LED front and rear headlamps. Rear parking sensors and cameras are also included. The interior could be customized and is enriched with Italian leather sport seats, alcantara upholstery and a bespoke console storage unit.

Furthermore the soundproof cabin comes with an in-car entertainment and communication system. These include a five-inch built-in LCD television interface providing access to wireless Internet, a DVD player, satellite navigation, 360 degrees external vision, surround sound from four loudspeakers, as well as a connection to any mobile handset and MP3 device via Bluetooth.

The Land Rover Defender by Prindiville Design is restricted to 25 units worldwide and pricing starts at £ 52,000 or US$ 81,500, excluding import taxes and shipping.
