German tuner Lumma Design has officially released their Lumma CLR 600 GT package for the new BMW 650i Convertible ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2012. The complete program includes an aerodynamic package, an increase in power to 490bhp, GTB-Monoblock 20 inch wheels and some interior refinements.

The subtle aerodynamic package of the Lumma CLR 600 GT comes with a front spoiler with LED daytime driving lights, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. The wheel housings have new Lumma GTB Monoblock alloy rims with Vredestein 255/35-20 tires on the front and 285/30-20 at the drive shaft. The luxury convertible is lowered by 20mm and has yellow painted brake callipers.

The tuner has developed modified engine electronics for the BMW TwinTurbo eight cylinder gasoline engine. In place of the 408bhp found in the series models, the eight-cylinder engine now produces 490bhp. In comparison to the series model’s 600Nm, the maximum torque now lies at a powerful 720 Newtonmeters. The top speed has been increased to 160mph. A flow-optimized muffler with four stainless steel tail pipes, each 90 millimeters in diameter, adds to the sound of the performance-enhanced eight-cylinder.

Lumma Design has designed the interior of the 650i Cabriolets to match the exterior trim. In the CLR 600 GT, they used alcantara and leather on the seats, the door panels and the ergonomically shaped sports steering wheel. There is a set of pedals made from aluminum, including foot rests, velour floor and trunk mats with leather trim.
