Top Gear USA is returning for Season 3 on February the 14th. The show follows a similar format of the BBC version: three main hosts present, The Stig (a secret race driver) tests vehicles, and celebrities are invited for interviews and to drive vehicles around a test track.
The US version of Top Gear is hosted by comedian and car buff Adam Ferrara, champion rally and drift racer Tanner Foust and racing analyst Rutledge Wood.
As a teaser for the upcoming series we can show you this video of the US Stig driving a Hennessey Corvette ZR1. In the clip he sets the new “unofficial” lap record around the Top Gear USA test track. He did it on his second lap around the course.
Can’t wait, after a dodgy start Top Gear US took on its own personality and became pretty fun to watch in its own right. I’ve grown much more fond of it than the dreadful Top Gear Australia.. which seems more like Old Top Gear presented by Peter Stringfellow!
Can’t wait for US season 3 to enjoy, as I enjoy UK season 18 :)
