Ferrari F430 on Fire in Houston

Another day, another Ferrari fire. This time it’s a Ferrari 430 Scuderia in Houston, North America. A passer-by filmed this short clip of the fire on the city’s 610 loop. It looks like another spontaneous fire, the driver and passenger were lucky enough to escape without injury.

It’s a shame to see another Ferrari by the side of the road, on fire. Check out the video below and let us know what you think in the comments box below.

  1. Quoted by the owner on Ferrari Chat:

“Wow!! I would advise everyone out there to get the fire extinguisher! I believe an oil line broke. The car went up in about 90 seconds. One less Scud in the world. This happened to me less than 2 hours ago and it was posted by some bystander within minutes. The fire did not penetrate the cabin – the firewall was not breached. I’m pretty certain the fire was caused by an oil line rupture as there was oil on the road for several hundred feet and I had no oil pressure when I shut the motor off.”
