Video Hennessey Venom GT Glow in The Dark Dyno Run

This is the Hennessey Venom GT chassis #4 doing its best to light up the room while a dyno run is done in the dark. The yellow body includes a 6.2 liter twin-turbo V8, which can now glow and spit fire.

To refresh you mind we can tell you that the car is powered by a twin turbocharged Chevrolet LS-series aluminum V8 producing 1,200hp and 1,135lb-ft torque mated to a six-speed Ricardo manual transaxle (the same as found in the Ford GT). Boasting a dry weight of just 2,548lbs and a curb weight of 2,68lbs with a full tank of fuel, the car delivers a superb power-to-weight ratio.

  1. Wow!! Now I get to imagine how the engine of an Koenegsegg Agera R performs. It’s faster than Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Supersport!!
