TechArt has set the high speed record for full-size SUVs at the Nardo High Performance Event 2009 organized by AutoBild and Continental. Their test driver Sandro Reuter reached a top speed of 321,2km/h, respectively 200mph, with the Techart Cayenne Turbo.
To achieve these figures TechArt installed their TA 055/2.2 performance kit. The kit improves the engine up to 680hp, an increase of 130hp compared to the standard production model. Other extras fitted to the vehicle were the Aerodynamics Kit I, 22-inch TECHART Formula rims and the Sport air suspension module.
The full program was available on the Cayenne, so including the daytime running lights, sports steering wheel, carbon kit, aluminium pedals, decorative stitching and seat belts in gray, additional leather in Luxury Black and illuminated door entry guards with the TechArt logo.
