We’ve seen several supercars burning down but this Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is definately one of the harder stories to tell, if you are the owner. The car completely burned down to the ground only leaving a small part of the back behind. Let’s hope he had an insurance.

The owner said:

I owned the Ferrari for 30 minutes. Just bought it for €600,000 and was heading home, when I noticed some smoke coming out from under the hood, I promptly pulled to the sideway and ran out of the car. Just in minutes all my new Ferrari was caught on fire. I really don’t know what has happened.

More car crashes here!

  1. Aluminum melts at 660 C (1220 F), steel at 1500 C (2700 F). Looks like a burning Ferrari’s temperature is somewhere in between.

  2. how bad is that.. you buy a car for that kind of money and expect it to work.. only half and hour later you realize you would have been better off if you had just bought a KIA :P

  3. For 600,000 € you can buy three 612 or even two fully pimped ones!!!

Maybe he had only rent the car or something like that, cause he didn´t know how much it is worth!!!
