Aston Martin isn’t the only one in Geneva that revived a legendary name from the ’30s in the last century. Maybach shows the Maybach Zeppelin as successor of the legendary and exclusive Zeppelin that was build nearly 80 years ago. The Maybach Zeppelin is available based on both the Maybach 57S and 62S and will be limited to 100 pieces worldwide.

The Maybach Zeppelin’s will be the most exclusive, luxurious and powerful Maybach’s to date. AMG further improved the 6.0-litre V12 biturbo, that can be found in both the 57S Zeppelin and 62S Zeppelin, and reached an output of 640 hp and 1000nm of torque. This allows for a sprint from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds for the 57S version and 5.1 seconds for the 62S version. Topspeed is limited at 275 and 250 km/h for the 57S / 62S.

The Zeppelin is identified by the two-tone exterior with 20″ wheels in Chrome Shadow color and new streamlined rearview mirrors. Inside you will find the finest quality leather in similar two-tone colors as on the exterior of the car. New and unique to the Zeppelin is the perfume atomiser that releases a delicate scent when pressed. This perfume atomiser takes a prominent position in the center console of the backseat.

The Maybach 57 Zeppelin is now available for €406,000, the Maybach 62 Zeppelin has a price tag of €473,200. The first models are due to be delivered to customers in September 2009. It’s definately flagship worthy and fulfils all desires one could have for a uber-luxury limousine.
