Next month is the ADAC Zurich 24 Race back on the Nürburgring, 24th and 25th may to be exact. Gumpert will participate in it with the Apollo Hybrid based on it’s petrol drinking father! Gumpert combines the powerful V8 with a electric engine. The hybrid engine will be a 3.3 liter V8 with double turbo, creating an output of 630 bhp. Next to that there’s the extra electric engine creating an extra 136 bhp which reloads himself during the braking! Well known racers Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Dirk Muller will race the monstor along with other beauties like a Porsche GT3, Dodge Viper, BMW Z4, Chevrolet Corette and a Lamborghini Gallardo.
