Elementz Kit Car

The dutch design-competition Burton has chosen it’s winner. The winner is called the Elementz Kit Car. The original idea was creating a car that can be powered by an electric engine, and it probably will in the future. But when we see the final drawnings it looks much more like a serious competitor for the dutch based Donkervoort. When we look from another point of view it looks like a combination of the well-known Caterham which earlier this week presented a V8 in it’s superlight cars and the superb Ariel Atom also coming with a V8. Too bad we have to say it’s not sure yet that this is going in production. More pictures after the jump!

  1. It is an attention getter and people used to like driving a machine like this in the rain, whether it had a gas motor or an electric engine. Once men traded beads and mirrors for gold and furs, it would seem that 80% of all highly touted cars now are fluff for money, a medium to exchange for your money. One small human driving a 4,000 lb car makes little sense. This car, for the right working man, who wants it because it is nifty and it is relaxing to drive for a while after work is OK.
