Phoenix GT - Uirapuru

This Phoenix GT – Uirapuru is not yet a production car. It’s a creation from a designstudent called André Soler together with GT Racecars. This car is still in concept stage, but under the hood is a 800 bhp engine resting (for now)!
The original name Uirapuru is derived from a bird that makes other birds stop singing thanks to it’s beautiful songs! The name is also the name of a brand out of the sixties that build a few cars and disappeared from the market.

Phoenix GT - Uirapuru
Too bad there’s a change that this Phoenix GT – Uirapuru stays as a concept, because until today there was no investors are found. As mentioned before the engine will be 800 bhp strong and that power is produced by a Judd GV5 Sports Racing engine. If you delete the limiter from the engine, the rpm go easily up to 10 000! Indeed: a F1 car for the normal streets! Because not everybody is up for that brutal power there will be a 400 bhp power version in shape of a V6 or V8. For the clutch there will be the choice between a 4 speed automatic or a 6 speed manual! Let’s wait for more news about this car…
